Commencement of the 2004-2005 School Year

Fremont and Danville: School Year begins on Saturday the 18th of Sept.

Los Altos and San Jose: School Year begins on Sunday the 19th of Sept.

Chinmaya Bala Vihar

Registration for Chinmaya BalaVihar is now open. Please visit the Bala Vihar Registration page to register.

The registration deadline is October 31. All registrations received after October 31 will be assessed a uniform non-refundable late fee of $50.00. Please register early and avoid the late fee.

The Cultural School operates at four locations: Los Altos, San Jose, Danville & Fremont.

The Bala Vihar and Yuva Kendra programs have been re-organized to serve Children and Youth. The classes are arranged according to School Grades of the Public School System Kindergarten through High School (K-12). This is the second year that we have adopted this format. In some locations there are combination of grades, either because of lack of teaching staff or there are not enough students to make up a class. But all the same they are all evolving to follow the grade system. We, no longer place children in class by age. The grade in which the child is enrolled in the Public School in the consideration for admission to Bala Vihar/Yuva Kendra.

Some Indian vernacular languages are also taught as part of this program.
 

Please note, however, that registration to only language classes is not permitted. In other words, those who wish to register their children in language classs must first register them in Bala Vihar / Yuva Kendra classes.

Los Altos : Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi
San Jose : Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam
Fremont : Hindi, Tamil, Telugu
Danville : Hindi and Tamil
